Enrollment Mail (outside Cologne)

Are you a first-semester student who has been enrolled for less than three months? If so, please use the Cisco Duo setup link provided in the email to activate your student account. You may then activate Cisco Duo without being present on campus. Follow these instructions: Cisco Duo registration via activation email

Initial registration in Cisco Duo requires presence on the University of Cologne campus. In exceptional cases, such as a stay abroad or illness, we offer the following procedure:

Please send us an e-mail to itcc-helpdesk@uni-koeln.de This should include:
* a scan or photo of your identity card,
* a scan or photo of a handwritten letter with date and signature in which you request that the enrollment mail be sent.

Once we have received these documents and information, we will send you this e-mail from the Cisco Duo system to your university email adress. Please note that the link it contains is only valid for 24 hours.
