The ITCC also offers the High Performance Computing (HPC) service. The high performance computing cluster RAMSES can be used by research groups from North Rhine-Westphalia and researchers in life sciences from Germany to carry out extensive simulations of complex problems. HPC runs computing applications that can no longer be performed efficiently on normal workstations due to high hardware requirements.
